The XT5 Premium Luxury
The Premium Luxury takes all of the beloved Cadillac features of the XT5’s base trim and adds a number of new premium safety and comfort features to the make. Among the new features include blind spot and cross-traffic monitoring, a power-adjustable steering wheel, a hands-free liftgate, and a retractable sunroof. The interior leather has also been upgraded to a semi-aniline leather lining that covers the dashboard and steering wheel as well as the seats.
The Luxury is also available in FWD and AWD configurations, and the engine can optionally be upgraded to an even more powerful and fuel-efficient V6 engine.
The XT5 Sport
The top tier of this year’s model, Cadillac has turned the XT5 into somewhat of a sports car at this trim level. Taking the added power of the V6 engine from the Luxury trim, the Sport adds some additional sporty features such as chassis-dampening control, an improved suspension, front Brembo brakes, and 20-inch nickel-lined wheels.
Cadillac has also given the Sport some aesthetic upgrades to make it feel even more luxurious, including a black-coated grille and bright-red calipers on the wheels. Fans of weekend trips will also appreciate the addition of a roof rack.
